After weeks of being under the weather I have been painting! This latest painting is of Moel Siabod and is built with layers of molten wax, creating a surface that feels both textured and alive. Softly fused skies drift above scraped and incised mountains, where pigments reveal themselves in ochres, greens, and stone-like tones.

In the foreground, carved marks suggest grasses and movement, while the stream is rendered in smoother, light-catching wax, contrasting with the more tactile areas. 50 x 25 soon to be available for sale in Artworks 2 in Betws y Coed.
