From countryside calm to coastal light

Today saw the departure of these two commissioned encaustic paintings.
The first is a gentle rural scene with a cottage and grazing Manx Loaghtan sheep, full of layered texture and soft, earthy colours. The second captures the energy of the coast, with waves rolling in beneath a glowing sky and an old stone castle standing strong against the sea.
Both pieces were a pleasure to create, and I’m delighted they’re heading off to their new home. Thank you to my lovely clients for the commission.
