I have been extremely busy painting over the last month. I live with an ultra rare bone condition called 'Hypophosphatasia' and I have started on a brand new drug. The injection sites are causing extreme itching but because I have needed to distract myself from scratching I have been very productive with my artwork. We had a glorious trip over to Aberdyfi yesterday to deliver my paintings to Artworks. The journey in itself was inspirational. I am presently showing work on their guest wall and the exhibition runs: 22 June - 19 July 2019. I have chosen tonal pieces to exhibit this year full of texture and intrigue. The launch of the exhibition at Oriel Ty Meirion Gallery last Thursday evening was a wonderful event and I thank all of you that were able to come. Mima, the gallery owner, had displayed my work perfectly. The lighting showed up the texture and colours in all their glory.
