The launch of the exhibition at Oriel Ty Meirion Gallery last Thursday evening was a wonderful event and I thank all of you that were able to come. Mima, the gallery owner, had displayed my work perfectly. The lighting showed up the texture and colours in all their glory. I was thrilled to be able to explain the process to so many people and was elated when I sold some work. Mima had put on a spread of nibbles and drinks and this made everything extra special. It was also lovely to see my Mum and friend there. Mum has very recently had a hip replacement and this was her first big outing. It was lovely to be able to share this special moment with her. Mick's framing of my artwork looked tremendous and really set off each piece. I am very grateful to him for all his hard work - he has been so busy! I have some brand new limited edition prints, just 10 of each, together with new blank greeting cards. There are a couple of photos of the event below.
I hope some of you are able to get over and see my work over the next few weeks. The exhibition is open every Thursday to Sunday between 11.30am and 16.30pm until the 19th May.
