I've just spent a great day with Julie and Diana who came to do some encaustic artwork. We began with the 'moves' i.e., teaching them how to hold the iron and how to create various effects. We then went on to putting down colours to create fabulous and spectacular mixes. By the end of the day Diana had been prolific and created a myriad of styles. Some colourful and others so textured. Julie was into her flowers. What a great day for me too - such a joy to teach other people to do encaustic art.
