The course includes coffee and brief introduction to encaustic art on arrival

This type of painting is great fun and is achievable for most people. On my encaustic art course you will learn how to use an iron and stylus - you will be amazed at the pleasure this art form can give. You will not only produce colourful work you will thoroughly enjoy the experience that painting can bring. You will become engrossed in the way the wax flows, the effects you can create. You will go home with unique paintings created by you.

Following the course you may wish to buy a basic starter kit which you can purchase from me. This will consist of an iron, coloured wax and paper.

 

• The course will take place in my art studio overlooking the stream and garden. 

• I run courses for a maximum of two people in my studio at home.  Workshops for larger groups can be organised.
