Over the last two months I have sold four pieces of artwork overseas. Three to Hong Kong and one to Pennsylvania. This must make me an international artist! One of the pieces was a commission of 'Fairy Glen' as the client loved the original but of course it had sold. It was tricky to create another picture similar to the first and I didn't want to create something exactly the same anyway. So different branches and different water. Must have been raining here in Wales! #

Over the last few days I have been working on a different project. It's been great joy to play and experiment once again now that all the hard work for the exhibition is under my belt. I have now finished the painting of Cnicht. I felt that the sky was threatening snow so I decided to add some snowflakes and a slight dusting. I think it has added something a bit special to the image. Now I am having difficulty walking due to a rare condition I am finding it increasingly difficult to find inspiration as I can’t get out to sketch or take photos in the locations I love.
